Vintage-Inspired Art Museum Engagement Session — Emmy + Joe

Emmy + Joe are two of my favorite humans. From the moment I met them I could tell that their love was so grounding and special. They care for each other so deeply, it’s like their souls are connected. Photographing them in an art museum only seemed to highlight this feeling. Together we were able to tell their story using the light and art around us. Their photos feel so cinematic—like stills straight from a movie—because they were able to let go and truly be themselves. They ran around, danced, looked at the art (at each other) and embraced while I moved around them, capturing their love from different angles and perspectives in order to create images that felt timeless and achingly romantic.

This is what being a photographer of life + love is all about—human connection. Telling your story. Creating art through your love.

I hope you enjoy my favorite engagement session to date.
