Engagement sessions are the perfect opportunity to not only create stunning images but also to showcase your unique personalities and love story. To make the most of this experience, I’ve compiled three ways to level up your engagement session and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Emmy + Joe are two of my favorite humans. From the moment I met them I could tell that their love was so grounding and special. They care for each other so deeply, it’s like their souls are connected. Photographing them in an art museum only seemed to highlight this feeling. Together we were able to tell their story using the light and art around us.

Have you been considering eloping in the mountains? Then there’s no better place to get married than Rocky Mountain National Park! With the most insane views, its accessible ceremony options, and prime location in Colorado, it really can’t be beat.

So you just got engaged, and now it’s time to celebrate with an engagement photoshoot! But, how does it work? Where should you go? What should you wear? What if you’re “too awkward” in front of the camera? These are normal concerns to have before your engagement session. But don’t worry! Here is everything I tell my clients to help them prepare for their engagement shoot, including outfits, locations, props, and mindset! But remember, the most important ingredient for an amazing engagement session is simple: just be yourselves!

Elizebeth and Brock traveled all the way from Iowa to do an anniversary shoot in Colorado at the same place they got married, one year later. I had the amazing opportunity to capture their love as they ran along Lookout Mountain, marveled at the beauty around them (at each other), and jammed out to Taylor Swift.

Sydney and Matt were a dream! They recently got married and decided to get back in their wedding attire for a lovely, joy-filled session!

Nicole and Esty were a dream to work with. Their Garden of the Gods sunrise elopement was freaking gorgeous! We had so much fun hiking along the outer loop, enjoying the crisp morning air, and basking in their love.

Words cannot express how happy this shoot made me. Elizabeth and Trent are magic. The love they have for each other was so potent, felt so raw, the entire shoot. Their eyes, hands, lips on each other the whole time, combined with the incredible Colorado landscape, continuously took my breath away. It still does.

I’ve been photographing Paige and Gabe for years now. This time, however, Paige wanted to get photos done for no other reason other than to capture their love during a mundane part of their journey. It was an absolute joy to have gotten the chance to immortalize this simply sweet time in their lives.
