Bohemian Wedding Inspiration for the DIY Bride — O’Connor Pavilion, Estes Park, CO

Jasmyne and David’s wedding day was like a Pinterest board come to life! They DIY’d and thrifted all of their unique decor, and Jasmyne even made her own bouquet! I seriously could not get enough of capturing all of the details from their day. If you’re looking for the perfect eclectic mountain wedding inspiration, you’ve come to the right place!

This wedding was second shot for Allison Elise Photo!

MISMATCHING BRIDESMAID DRESSES + UNIQUE FLORAL TIES

Holy crap was I obsessed with the bridesmaids’ dresses! The bride gave them each a color, and then they got to pick out their own dresses! I love this idea because it ensures that each girl is comfortable and confident throughout the day. And the mis-matching floral ties (that the groomsmen got to pick out themselves!) were so unique! These elements helped pull in the colorful and eclectic style into her wedding party!

I’d also like to note: Jasmyne made not only her own bouquet, but all of her bridesmaid’s bouquets as well!! A true DIY queen.

FIRST LOOKS, CHARCUTERIE BOARDS, + THRIFTED FINDS

This bride didn’t miss any details! After getting ready with her bridesmaids at a local Airbnb in Estes Park, she arrived at the venue, O’Connor Pavilion, for the first look with the groom in a beautiful field next to the ceremony spot. Her and her groom read each other their private vows, and then they transitioned right into—get this—a charcuterie board snack-break, sitting on a couch she thrifted! This idea was not only adorable, but it gave the bride and groom extra time together to eat and hang out before getting married. Scheduling intimate time like this into your wedding day is a must—your day will go by in the blink of an eye, so you want to ensure that your time is spent well, and with the person you love most!

Jasmyne is a thrifting queen; not only did she thrift the couch, but she thrifted a huge assortment of unique bells for her guests as wedding favors! The bells could also be rung whenever the guests decided that the bride and groom should kiss! How freaking cute is that??

UNIQUE CEREMONY DECOR

Jasmyne and David’s outdoor ceremony was so special. And like everything else from this day, it was straight out of a Pinterest board!

The first think I noticed upon arriving to the spot was the gorgeous dreamcatcher arch! Jasmyne found each dreamcatcher herself to incorporate into her wedding day. They also had a table set up with bread and wine so that the bride and groom could take communion together. So of course, it had to also be adorned with potted plants and a beautiful golden tablecloth.

The second thing I noticed—and then became obsessed with—was the boho rug aisle. All rugs were thrifted!

VINTAGE TABLE SETTINGS + FLORAL CAKE

Oh, you thought that was all that Jasmyne thrifted? Think again! She also thrifted all of the table settings! This includes the thrifted glassware, plates, and bud-vases! The antique table settings paired with simple greenery and colorful flowers made for a wonderfully whimsical reception space that took my breath away.

We can’t forget about the cake! The semi-naked (or, partially frosted) wedding cake was decorated in the same flowers used in all of the bouquets! It was simple, elegant, and unique, just like Jasmyne and David.

This was the whimsical mountain wedding of my Pinterest dreams! I’m so lucky to have gotten to help capture it.
