An Intimate Backyard Wedding on the Big Island, Hawaii
Tara and Jake’s intimate wedding in Hawaii was nothing short of magic. They invited only their closest friends and family to celebrate with them in an AirBnb in Kealakekua Bay, a home which made for the perfect backdrop for a day full of laughter and love.
Everything about this day was special—from watching Tara and Jake’s close friends help them set up all of the decor, to the girls all getting ready together (while the guys hung out and took a dip in the ocean), to their ceremony officiated by one of their closest friends (and guitar played by another), to the looks of pure love and care on their family and friend’s faces as they officially tied the knot, to the wild dance party that concluded the night; there was not one moment that was lacking in abundant joy.
I was so honored to be a part of this day, documenting it in both film and digital with my husband by my side. It was unequivocally beautiful, perfectly chaotic, and filled with memories that no one is bound to forget.
